hello, hello, hello
It feels like it's been ages. I've just spent the last hour catching up on other peoples diaries...it was nice. Tonight is the first night since starting school that I've had time to update.
I'm so busy but loving my job and every single one of those little nut cases. I'm apparently on strike tomorrow over some issue to do with pensions...I don't really know what's happening...all I know is that because all of the other teachers aren't going in, i'm not either, but I still get paid, so its okay! mmmmmm a lie in tomorrow! So nice.
I had a lovely day out in York on Saturday. It's ages since Kevin and I have spent any real quality time together and it was great to get away even just for the day. It was one of those days where we felt that there was just us in the world and noone could touch us. Just holding his hand, which is something I do every day, felt shiney and new. York is so beautiful. I always forget how much I love that place until I get there. It's stunning.
Yesterday wasn't so great. To cut a long story short, my dad is an obnoxious, opinionated, foolish, selfish arse hole and my mam ended up sobbing on mothers day! I know that sounds harsh but theres no way I will even feel slightly bad for saying it!
Anyway, I'm off to band in a little bit. I quite fancy a good old sing tonight and then tomorrow I will make my way throgh school preparation and a little house work I thinks.
