HUGE entry

I never did finish that last entry! Ho hum!

The past week has been BRILLIANT. It's just such a shame that it went by so fast. Each day that went by, I just wanted to claw back to keep in a little bottle to look back at in years to come.

Kevin and I spent the first few days just doing nothing talking about how much we had achieved in the house and how much different things are from this time last year.

We sorted a lot of wedding stuff and I spent a lot (waaay too much) of time wandering around Hobby Craft feeling like I should be wearing a chunky hand-knitted jumper and beige pants with dodgy sandals and socks and be done with it, looking at all the beautiful crafty stuff. Ribbons, and gem stones and sequins and stickers and pom poms and...ohhhh I'm all of a bother *fans face to calm excitement*. Finally, we chose the equipment that we need for our wedding invitations etc.

We spent a night in Liverpool...we just fancied a bit of an explore and it was great. Liverpool has very much the same atmosphere to Newcastle and we loved it. I never get bored of spending time with Kevin. Whether we laugh, have mindles chit-chat, deep and meaningfuls or just sit quietly, I always have the BEST times with him. I love him I do. I really, really do.

We partook of some swanky nosh at Pan America, and our bank card was sweating and screaming as the waiter took it away to bleed it dry.

We went to the Tate Liverpool and I have to say. I don't usually enjoy galleries much because, being of simple mind, I generally Don't get it! but there was this one picture (sort of picture' and all it was, was a single block canvas painted blue - that's it...but I had to get reaally close and stare at it because the blue was so intense that it looked like it went on for miles. It was the most amazing colour I have ever seen. The artist (Yves Klein) developed the color himself and he described it as ‘a Blue in itself, disengaged from all functional justification’. Usually I would think that it was all bollocks..but I loved this picture. I would post a picture but it would just look like an ordinary blue square...and this is NO ORDINARY blue square. It has power, I tell you!!!!

I then had a lovely day with Kevin and my Parents at the Edinburgh festival where we enjoyed street entertainment and watching the confusion on my dads face in Starbucks at the 'funny stuff' on top of his coffee. That would be froth on your cappuccino dad! Bless him!

Our next venture was a day at Sea Houses with Moo, Gareth, Becca and Craig! I love my friends and don't get to see them nearly as often as I would like. I would tell you all about it but will let the pictures speak for themselves as they do a far better job.

Okay...so actually there weren't as many photos of people as I would like. Kevin takes a lot of pictures of scenic stuff. However...IS THIS PURE GENIUS OR WHAT?????

And finally to end this seemingly never ending post...I'm preparing my cat to take over the world. Look how clever she is...this is not camera trickery, she really did do this (you will believe me, yes you will!)
