quickie
Well whoop de doo. Time for a quickie (hehehee of the updating variety for any of you rudies out there *shakes head in disapproval of the smut*)
How long has it been? 45 DAYS that's how long. Did you miss me? Say yes anyway - even if you didn't!
It has been a MAD MAD half term. I stil love my jobs and the kids are unreal. I really feel like, although I have never had to work harder in my life, it's all worth it. The kids really appreciate what you do and make an effort with their work. Such a huge difference from other schools where I have worked.
I was supposed to have my hen weekend in the weekend just gone but for a whole culmination of reasons, it couldn't happen - so I still have it to look forward to!
Instead, I spent the weekend and a little extra with my favouritest Ali. I havent had proper Ali time for ...ever and it was wonderful. We played on huge slides at the Tate Modern (it was art, I'm quite sophisticated you know!) We went to borough market and ate A LOT. We bought the most divine chocolates I have ever had. We saw a show, ate indian food, drank beer, went to the pub, went to a club and danced, went to Portobello road where some spanner pinched my purse!
Due to purse being stolen along with my train tickets and all forms of ID I was stuck in London for a little extra time. So Ali and I invited Kevin down to come and get me and stay too so we went to Harrods and ate the most gigantic and thoroughly delicious Ice cream sundaes we have ever had, we went for a Greek Mezze meal and then saw Buckinghame Palace, a huge pelican in St. James Park, Laughed at Kevin attempting to ride the Lions at Trafalgar Square and then ate pasties at Covent Garden before journeying home!
It was a most wonderful weekend and a bit.
I miss Ali
Becca and Craig got married. You can see pics on Moos diary. It was a gorgeous day. Bec looked so sophisticated and pretty. It was a truly lovely day!
Kevin and I get married in two months and 3 days. I cannot contain my excitment - though it seems to be presenting itself in the form of me nearly throwing up every time it is mentioned. We have had a little disaster with the invitations so everything is running behind and I am a little paniced but stil calm.
